I am in the process of putting a 1.8 deisel engine in a farmall b -- in need of a pilot shaft bearing-- i know what i need but cant find a site where i put in the dimensions and come up with what i need?anybody know of a simple solution? thanks in advance

Roy,

Perhaps a pilot bushing will do? I think there's plenty that could be bored out or turned down that'd be plenty usable.

If you have a ball style bearing in the FW now, and want to keep the same style, take the bearing and the shaft dimensions to Motion Industries, or Kaman Inc. to get a replacement. If they can't do it it is not available, and a bushing is the answer. Bushings last a long long time if greased when assembled. Jim

Have one turned out in a lathe you can get a piece of oil-lite brass to make on. Anyone with a lathe can make one.
