8n coolant draining out

i have an old 8n and the coolant was overflowing about a gallon so i replaces the cap ( overflowed after it was turned off)...thought it solved the problem but i later saw a big wet spot under it again...any ideas what the problem may be? thanks!

If its not coming out of the cap now, it might have built up enough pressure to split one or more tubes. Also you might want to check that the outside core is clean, and not keeping air from going through it.

Are you by chance over filling it?
Should be just above the coils when
you look in, not full to the top.

You may have a leaking head gasket. Take the radiator cap off when the tractor is running and see if there are bubbles in the coolent. If so you shoud have a pressure test done to see if the radiator is holding pressure.
