Said I'd quit baling hay on my 70th birthday, last Tue, should have 12,000 by then. Baled the 11th and again the 16th. Stuff looked and smelled good, rattled, I think freeze-dried. About 100 bales short of goal. Last couple fields I cut high, felt sorry for the plants. OK, parked the equipment for the winter. ( I think). Maybe a major Indian summer and I'll hit another field of third cutting. No.

Keep on Keeping on. Don't over do it, but do not stop. THe hay however can be allowed to rest for the winter. Jim
