IH 140 and dirt scoop

Tractor is an IH 140 mid 1960's era. Has been
converted to three point hitch. Does anybody have a
similar setup where a dirt scoop was added? Behlen
Country and King Kutter offer 24" and 30" dirt
scoops. Attempting to see how well this would work
on my 140. Issues are lift strength of hitch and too
much weight on back end. thanx P.S. Empty scoops
weigh 230# to 270#.
 
one way to check small weights stand on it and measure your weight or check with 50 lb sacks. if your not going far how about using a box blade?
 
The 140 is not a bulldozer and moving much dirt that way just wont work traction, power all will work around against a small tractor pluss the wt when lifted up is bad for the front will come up.Just as long as you dont carry too much or try and dig deep you can get by.
