Last evening I, my wife, and 3yo daughter were coming home from Minneapolis when my mother called and said she was taking my father into the ER because he was having chest pains after riding his exercise bike, We made it to the hospital within a couple of hours, he was and thank our lord he has been symptom free since they arrived at the hospital. His Troponin level is slightly increased from what is a normal .01 to .02. That is an enzyme that is released when your heart is being overworked for lack of better terms. The level has not increased at all overnight or today. Looking and speaking to my father had you not known anything was wrong, you wouldn't suspect anything was, he is looking good and doesn't have any pain. The doctors today are going to run an ultrasound on his left leg to see what may be causing the little bit of swelling he has there if its a blood clot or not. the blood tests he has had done doesn't show any raised numbers indicating a blood clot though. They will also run a CT scan of his chest to rule out any blood clots there. My Father is 82, hes full of life and is anxious to get back home on the farm to work on tractors. Our Lord is the best doctor there could be, and I would just like to ask you all for just a minute of your day to lift him up to our Lord for a speedy recovery and many more years to come.
