Hi im looking to put a snowblower 86" on my International farmall 766 ( diesel ) 1975. some people say to me the pto is too higher for a snowblower. what do you think about that?
Snoblower will work very well or the shaft will broke all the time? thank you very much for your reply.

Do you mean too high off the ground, or too high of RPM's. Not sure what your question is.

Our 766 had both a 540 rpm and 1000 rpm pto shaft. If it's heighth off the ground, then adjust you lift arms.

I mean, those tractors are designed to work. Can't see why it can't handle this job.

Thank you for your reply

too higher from the ground.

i have 27" 1/4 in the center of the pto 540 to the ground.
we have a deal for a 86" snowblower, its fan shaft it is at 18" from the ground.

really sorry for my bad english.

Assuming the distance from the end of the PTO shaft on your tractor to the corresponding (splined) end of the shaft on the snowblower is at least 30 inches, you are good to go.

(Assuming the snowblower is attached to the three point hith on the tractor.)
