A couple weeks ago I posted about the wheel coming off
my brand new made in the USA trailer. Original Post
Well, I called the dealer where I bought it, they called the
company who made the trailer, they called the company that
made the axle and they called me back.
I had to send them the axle tag information and some pictures,
they sent me a complete new axle including brakes hubs and springs.
It arrived today. Not too bad considering the holiday weekend.
They'll pay a local shop or me one hour labor to install it.
Four bolts and two wires on a trailer that's not even rusty yet.
I should get around to changing it tomorrow or Friday.
I'll also take the other hubs apart and check them.
All's well that ends well! :)

LUCKY for you they took care of the problem.

On the other hand, LUCKY for them no one was killed/hurt/maimed by the original failure!

Very true Bob. If I hadn't seen it and got the trailer stopped that
tire could have went through a windshield and killed someone.
As it is, seems no damage other than the hub and bearing.

I'm am glad they stood behind their product.

That would be an easy one to put back on the owner. Hard to prove otherwise. Makes me wonder if they have had a lot of them doing it ?
