Help!! **How do I sell?**

My father recently passed away and we are helping my mother clear out some of the things my dad had in the "shed". The tractor is not needed and we are looking to sell it; I do not believe it runs.

Post a picture if you can, if not at least year, model, and make if possible. That way we can give you a good value. I would start with your local Craigs List. You do get a lot of spam, but I have had very good luck selling things on there. Bryce

See if the engine is stuck. If it's free it may not need much to get it started. It will probably bring more money if it's running. Hal

Here's the instructions for posting a picture or several. Hal
PS: This is using the Advanced Posting Tools.

I am running an Apple laptop, I can select photo and and it states "beginning upload" and never moves past that.

You need your pictures downloaded to My Documents or Pictures. The Advanced Posting Tools will take you there automatically when you click on "Browse". Hal

Depending on your internet speed it can take a
while, and don't forget to hit continue after it
shoes up.

The email doesn't display?? I clicked on you're profile and it displayed information not including email address

If your running Apple, let it continue till done and then hit the
continue button. Watch at the bottom of your screen till it no longer
shows it is uploading. Then you can look in preview and see if you
got it.

f you have alittle time to put into it, it's worth far more running than it is not. If the motor is free and the wiring harness is is good shape it probably only needs alittle work to get going. I would think points condensor battery carb kit and maybe plugs and a distributor cap would be the absolute worst being how she looks. The hood is on it and it appears all the parts are where they should be so I would suspect she was put away running. Not running the most I would offer you if I was buying would be $500 so keep in mind the price changes by 400-500 dollars or more if it runs.

Its at least a 1939.I would buy it if it were near me.Saw a nice one sell for 800 bucks years ago while a Eord 860 sold for 3000.00.The Ford was in bad shape.I called about an H.Owner said it needs a battery.I told him to call back when it had a good battery in it.He never did call.

If you can post the serial number here and on the Farmall forum, someone will be able to tell you the year that it was made. Looks newer than the 1940's.

If you can get it running and moving, it will be worth more to a buyer. Looks to be in pretty good shape.

Why not keep your dads tractor and fix it up.My dad didnt leave much but I have his tools and table saw.A music box, an Edison Phonograph. They are not for sale.

As everyone else is saying, it looks very good it is nice and straight. It may even be original. It could bring a significant money if it runs, and it will certainly bring $500.00 more. If you could post what part of 'Bama you are in you may get a member that can come and get it running for you.

Is that a metal gear shift knob? If so, the tractor
is a war-time 1943. Probably valuable collector.

Definitely get it running. You will add about $500 to the value. From the location of the starter switch it is a later H, maybe mid-40's. Sheet metal looks good. The tires look to be Firestone Field and Roads, so are newer. Tires are a HUGE factor in value. New tires will cost as much as the whole tractor is worth. Definitely needs a battery box and steering wheel.

I know it has been a few months but I am now able get a look at the tractor. Where would I start my search for the serial number?
