The Trans. Dipstick is a 1/4 inch rod brazed to a 1/2 inch pipe plug, total length is 10 3/16 inch. length to the full mark is 9 1/16 inch. I have mine torn down replacing steering clutches, & cleaning up & repairing brake discs. Gene

Finally got to check. Pipe plug style-from bottom of plug 10 1/4 overall. 9 3/32 to full. 9 7/16 to add
