FORD 580 12 VOLT CONVERSTION WIRING DIAGRAM WORKS

KISS (Keep it simple silly) I learned my lesson the hard way.
When things go wrong it is easy to feed into fear and think of the worst scenario.
Malfunction in the battery bad cell started the feeding frenzy of this tractor has everything wrong with it and we have to dive in replace all we can electrically attitude.
Bad coil was found post pulled out.
LEARNED we did not have a resister on a coil which plainly states in white it needs one.
So naturally solenoid must be bad got a new one with 4 post.
LEARNED you have to match the solenoid to the tractor.
We went through all kinds of wiring configuration with this solenoid which did not work.
Help was given by kind people on this forum and suggested we retry the 3 post again.
LEARNED must have a good ground and cleaned up the mounting bracket and where it mounts to the tractor.
Looked at the wiring again with the mode of KISS (Keep it simple silly).
Pushbutton works has always worked.
LEARNED grounding is a must for machines to work.
Just a thought
We humans are a machine, remarkable in design and form. Grounding is important for us to function. Our world is full of ways to interrupt that ground. Rubber shoes, concrete building, and stress the list goes on and on. As for me I will hug a tree now and then nature’s way of grounding

THE TRACTOR RUN NOW.
I am sharing this information to think you all.

Picture below of wiring diagram I am using which makes the tractor run.

Just one wire from altinator to power side try to erase wire to small poll but scanner picked it up.

Funny how something as simple as a poor ground can and will cause a lot of odd problems. Guess I am one of the lucky ones who can rewire a tractor in my sleep but then I have done probably at least 100 of them if not more over the decades

I have to wear many hats like a farmer. To help teach about sustainability I use my horses and gardens.
My horses have to eat so they can produce compost for my gardens to feed me and my husband. This requires knowledge of how to get the hay thus I have to know and learn how to cut, rake and bale hay. I use old equipment because I can learn how to fix and operate it.
It is because you and people like you with all the experience in old farm equipment can and do help
others who want to learn.
Your gift of knowledge is much appreciated and allows me to in turn give back to others who want to understand the circle of life called “sustainability”.

Thank you for your kindness.

We are all in this together
What Affects one of us
Affects us all
You matter

Know what your saying. I have horses so I can have compost so I can grow a garden as organically as I can. I also have goats and chickens. I bale hay and sell hay so my hay in the long run is free. I can a lot of stuff and pass on recipes of stuff I have canned. I also deer hunt and hope to can meat this year.
Learned years ago if you learn something new every day you have had a very good day

We have one goat, one lama, one pig and some ducks and chickens a small farm petting zoo of sorts. My husband loves to can and cook and is always looking for new recipes. Even in a small farming community the farm is quickly being forgotten. Children think meat comes from a store and no clue about where food comes from.
Seems the city’s do have a little of community gardening if they are lucky. We are working on how to grow all the food you need in a 10 foot square using vertical gardening and crop rotation. I have a dream for all to have a garden such as this. All can feed themselves and everyone has a full stomach.
We are thinking of making a little book how to do this. Do you wish to give us some garden tips to help with the book? My e-mail is [email protected]

Try to find a book called the square foot garden. It explains how to do a garden in a very small area. I do a lot of raised beds and those I fill with compost. I own 44 acres so land is not a problem but I still only garden a small area

We have just 6 acres do hay got 15 big round bales this year off it. Did hay off little acres friends around my place and got 60 big bales. We do raised beds also. We did veritcal tomatoe wall worked out super. People are starting to notice how the garden is working for us. Thinks we will look the book up.

I do pole beans and use 4 20 foot PVC pipe shaped in a arch and fence wore over them and the beans climb up and over and you walk under that to pick the green beans. I use 4 3 foot long piece is rebar to hold the ends if the pipe. 1 inch PVC by the way. Can post picture and all of it and by the way makes a good green house by covering that with plastic. Posted pictures of all but the plastic a couple years ago on here

SUPER alwasy looking for ways to not have to bend over and pick. Post any thing you have. See this is the vertical garden I am talking about. Less space needed and easy to pick.
WONDERFUL.

Here is my pole bean/green house set up. By the way my garden space is a area 20X30 and another 15X20 so not a big area but I produce a lot of stuff. I probably gave away at least 30gal of green beans this summer. I was getting 1-2 gal every other day
