1969 john deere 4020 hydraulic loss

Could possibly be caused from a worn stroke control valve. How long since hyd filter was changed & sump screen cleaned. I would also recommend checking hyd stand-by pressure which should be 2250 psi.

FILTER CHANGED .SUPER LOW HR TRACTOR BUT HAS SIT FOR YEARS WHERE IS THE STROKE CONTROL VALVE ?

Parts keys 42,43 & 44 in frt hyd pump

This must be a side console and the pto clutch is pressurized
via the trans pump.
Low pressure system needs to be tested first. Has he even
said if it was PS or syncro?

Have you followed the regular scheduled transmission hydraulic service provided in the operator's manual?
What kind of hydraulic oil?

TRACTOR IS A SYNCRO,OIL IS JOHN DEERE,FILTER ALWAYS CHANGED,IN THE BEGINNING WHEN I MADE A SHARP TURN, I WOULD LOSE ALL STEERING AND PTO WOULD SHUT OFF, NOW HAPPENS EVERY NOW AND THEN

FYI if you type using all upper case letters it's considered shouting(by some not I) and gets some of the "self proclaimed forum moderators" undies in a bunch.
