More canning, slave driving females LOL

Well a friend picked up a big bunch of apples the other day so she brings them to me to can. Started out with doing a mixed fruit pear thing and got 8 pints. The women are now cutting up apples to do apple pie filling. I got to escape the kitchen till they are done cutting them up then I get to go back and do the hot hard part of canning. LOL

Lol, good idea old! Our tree is still full of apples I filled these two baskets the other day and I've already canned a bunch of sauce. I'm surprised at how many apples there were this year.

Only way that will happen is if I bake the pies my self. In my house the kitchen is mine and the wife can come in when and if I let her.

the wife and I canned 20 qt. and 20 pt. of peppers & tomato sauce Thursday I really enjoy canning. did a lot of green beans this year. I only plant a very small garden just for fresh veges. Last year I made jelly red raspberry, black raspberry and elderberry maybe 150 jars pint. & 1/2 pints keep cookin.
