OT---Cable Size??

I have ordered Coleman Cable 095136208 12/2 Low Voltage Lighting Cable. This will be used for Outdoor Deck Lighting.
I know that I can drill 1/2" holes to slip the cable through but would rather drill the smallest hole possible. There will be many holes to drill.
Does anyone know the rectangular size of this type cable?
The company could not furnish the outside jacket dimensions.

Well, you can expect that the product in question is made in the "land of almost right", which pretty much assures that each batch/production run will be different.

I heartily suggest you wait 'til you have the "product" in your sweaty little hands, and THEN fire up the drill!

Or, alternately, drill 1" holes, to assure adequate clearance!

Wouldn"t worry about the smallest possible hole, I think you"re over-thinking this. Make the holes the exact size, and you"ll have a difficult time threading the cable from joist to joist. Bore the holes in the center of the joist, and near a support if you can, and make them over-size and you"ll be happy.
