Our little bit is hardly worth talking about but typically for us it did not turn out what we expected. I can tell you one thing if you want the fields to dry up before you pick just put duals on your combine. It is dry as a chip there now. Our little 100 acre farm is about 10 miles on your side of I95 and about the same south of I26 which I know you are familiar with. My brother is the farmer and I am the mechanic. I would much rather work on a tractor than operate it. The problem is taking care of our father takes more and more every day and the farm being 55miles away makes it very difficult to do anything. Anyway its done we kept enough for our own use 150 bushels. The Irony is we don't have time to hunt. We bait up the deer stands every time we go there but have had very little time to hunt. but to answer your question we picked about half of what we expected.

RBnSC,

Why do you sell ear corn? Do people buy it for squirrel feeders? You can buy it that way here... though not certain of current price - but it is high. Kind of like those tiny little hay bales for $10 that Tractor Supply sells.

Sweetfeet,
They buy it for baiting deer. We sold some we bagged and then sold the rest by the truckload.
