John Deere B brakes

I am restoring a 1947 John Deere B, serial 202247. Presently I'm working on the brakes. While cleaning the area on the tractor before reinstalling the brake units,I noticed a hole in the cast below the drivers platform that goes through to where the brake housing will be. Is there suppose to be greasers in these holes? They were full of dirt and I did clean them out. there are no threads so it would be a pop in zerk. Am I right about this?

no just leave them as they were its ok to clean the dirt. these are holes made when drilling the return oil holes in the housing to let oil return from the brake housings
