Just some more photos Itook as I drove along in England this past weekend. I know some of you have never gotten over here so have a look.....

Sunday afternoon turned a bit wet as I was crossing the moors....

Sam, thanks for the post and the photos! Never having actually taking the time to research the moors, I have , for years, carried images from school geography books , which painted them as very desolate and inhospitable places, not to mention, "Hound of the Baskervilles", although the setting is in another location than Yorkshire. Your photos show these moors to be not exceedingly different from other places. Hi-tech even judging by the photos of the windmills.

I was going to ask if you'd seen Lorna Doone
but then realized you're a long way from Devon and Somerset.
