Well, it finally arived here in central NY. Woke up to a balmey 19F this morning. I think the last of my Mators may be done blossiming now. HeHe. I had a couple of yellow cherry tomatoes that we have been harvesting regularly.
The sunrise was kind of nifty with the little arrow shaped cloud shooting away from the sun. Perhaps the sun was a little cold this morning and backfired. LOL.

Neat pic! Thanks for posting. It was 23 in Tn. on the Cumberland Plateau where I live Saturday morning so we were a little ahead of you for once.lol

Yes, it was crisp this morning on this hillside.

I cheated, putting moving blankets/tarps over my bell peppers, which mind you, just started producing red, orange and earlier, purple bell peppers, they were planted in late May or 1st of June in good soil, loaded with nutrients they require, stunted from June rains, maybe that washed the soil, they then grew tall, a few fell over 9-12-13 when that wicked heavy rain high wind thunderstorm rolled through, all were still green.

Its the same as so many mention here, crop looks bleak, weather or conditions not cooperating, in the end, its always better than you think. I did not get as much produce as these plants should have put out, but I did get something and they sure are good, red bell peppers loaded with vitamin C. I will sneak a few into pots and put them in where they get full sun, that is if they survived last night.

Looks crispy there. I woke up to rain/sleet this morning before 5 a.m. Winter is coming to soon for me.

We had our first frost in the Pacific Northwest last night, too. 29 this morning. Seldom gets below 25 here, unless we get cold air down from the north- then we can get to zero, but that is rare.

Had our frost/freeze over a month ago now. Had accumulating snow all last week. Heck they even had to plow the football field so a local team could play last Friday night.
