I had to travel to England on business this weekend, So knowing that you guys like scenery pics....I took the camera and got some shots whilst I was driving and thought it safe enough!
This could just as well be taken in PA but it is Sherwood Forest (think Robin Hood legend!)

No they drive on the left side of the road! LOL Interesting point ....someone posted old film of trams in a town years ago on here....All the cars were righthand drive?????

And you still found a "phonebox", here they are called phonebooths and are only found in antique stores. Cell phones eliminated the need for them.

Thank you for the pics. They give us a little feeling of what your part of the world is like. Keep them coming. Jim

They have some beautiful country over there too! Sam, in the second photo of the Yorkshire Dales, the old tree seems to have a wall built all around. Is it a special tree?
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Yes, beautiful wonderful very friendly people, but a warning to those of us Yanks who go to visit; they'renot only driving on the wrong side, they're sitting in the passenger seat to do it!!! You'll want to cross a street, glance down the street, and automatically think that oncoming car in the wrong lane isn't really coming right at you, bacause there's nobody driving..... you'll get knocked into the next village.
Never forget cycling through England many decades ago, thought I had the right-side / wrong-side thing all figured out, when I came to my first traffic circle / roundabout. Holy S--T!!

Yes we do enjoy the pictures. But the "Bitters" those guys served in
their pubs, with their darts, forget it! I'll take the Lager, chilled.
