Does this make it rare?

I was just looking at an online auction and came across a tractor with this as part of the description. "Built Jan. 9, 1952, shipped to Twin Falls, Idaho. Only 113 were built that month." LOL,how many were built in all the rest of the years of production?

If its a John Deere, there are always people trying to make out their tractor are rare, one of a kind etc.

An example of rare acording to some if the generator is painted black its one of a kind. I hope you know what I mean.

There was a blue moon that month, don't you keep up on these things?

Ya,that would be something to talk about. It would be my second B though if you want to make me admit it.

Had a guy try to sell my dad a 44 JD B as a rare tractor because it was made during the war and they were recycling all the metal for the war effort. Only problem was I did a quick production searh and found out 1944 was one of the highest production years for the B in its run. Still wanted an arm and leg for the tractor.

Only 113 that month? That must have been quite a long strike? Wonder what they were striking about.....too much green paint????
LOL.....Sam

1952 was the last year for the letter series B & A tractors, do not know what month production ended but could possibly be in last month of production or it could be a low production version like all fuel or higher crop or something like that and with all the variables it could be a rare tractor. Need a lot more information to actually know.

I inspected this trac. & bid on it. It is not rare. Last BN & BW's had A axles making them lower prod. If it had been all fuel, that would make lower prod.maybe 2or 3 hundred built.

I found a F-20 on CL for 10,000.00,rare rotted tires and rare rust, by the pictures I would guess a rare stuck motor too. Takes all kinds:)
