Ruined a tire bushhogging the other day, tire size is 13.6x28. Have looked for tires everywhere, everybody wants to sell me China junk. Does anyone know of a plain 45 degree type of tire. I like Firestone Field
& Road, but can't find any in that size. I want to get two tires, I hate mismatched. Thanks for any help.

If you get the same tyres as we do in the UK, then you will not get a better tyre than BKTs. I have them on a few of my tractors and am getting better wear out of them than any other radials I have used. I also have some of the older tractors fitted with cross-ply BKTs and I couldn't say anything bad about them!. Great gripping tyres also.

Try BKT they are made in india. Pretty solid tire with lots of tread. And half the price of firestone. Going to be hard to find a us made tire. I do have a friend that has a matched pair of field and roads in 13.6 x 28 with 60/70% tread in se mi. Email me and I can get you his number.

I've been looking to.The best one tire chain wants 350 for new ones plus 50 for a tube. They are 45 Degree tread. The local goodyear store has a couple tread styles for 400 each.I've got one new tire that says multi-track,but I can't find one to match it.

That's a lot better than I can do locally. The days of $150.00 tractor tires died out with the 90's.

I did just to see what they were selling for and navigating their site was less than stellar for that farm tire. I stopped looking at page 25 and the selection boxes at the top let you put in the width and farm tire but that's all.

So I googled the size and came up with titantire.com which went a lot smoother. Price was just under $900 so by the time you pay shipping you are looking at $1k. WOW. I heard that the gov. was messing with import duties and this had an impact on tire prices, but WOW, I didn't expect this. I remember 10 years ago or thereabouts, I bought 13.6 x 38 (not 28) in Armstrong brand for $450 each locally.

Galaxy got the Field & Road moulds... or at least make a tire conforming to that design. They're probably a Chinese made tire. I'd have no hesitation buying that if I needed a cheap tire. The Firestone Field and Road was discontinued a couple of years ago.
The last thing I'd do is install any bloody Titan tire. It'd be wearing steel cleats first.

Hi
was just wondering when the last time you brought a rear tube for a tractor for $25 was?
If you can get them that cheap I want 16.9 x 30 and 12.4 x36 tubes. last 16.9 I had was over $70 CAN.
Tires and tubes have rocketed in the last while, 8 years ago I got 4 new 16.9x30 tires for close to $1300. Now I can barely buy 2!.
