OT: Lower State Band Competitions

Spent twelve hours yesterday passing out cups of water to the bands right before they walked on the field. I chose that task so I could spend some time with our Son (Alto Saxophone)They took third in the lower State (SC)competition. This is the highest band score in the History of the School. Made for a very long day. Enjoyed watch the different mechanisms used to transport props. Some of those people were very ingenuity. Rest up today and get ready to go to State competition next week.

Can tell you are really proud of them.

Competition yesterday was 12 bands in one division. Our crowd did really well also. Took first in their division.

Don't really have a regional or state competetion in WNC.
