Massey Ferguson B2200 3 pt hitch

B2200

I am missing the top link for the three point hitch on my Massey B2200 industrial. I understand these links are different lengths for different tractors. Anyone know the proper length of arm for this unit?

I've heard of a MF 2200 but not a B2200. Category 1 top links are adjustable for length and there are 2 standard length's(long and short) available. You most likely just need a standard cat. 1 top link and any farm supply or dealer will know the common one.

Check the diameter of the hole where the top link is supposed to connect to the tractor. If it's 3/4" diameter, then that end is Category 1. If it's 1" diameter,it's Category 2. If it's 1 1/4" diameter, Category 3.
You can determine if the other end is the same category. MIght be, might not, you can get spacers to reduce the diameter if you have the Cat. 3 and need Cat. 2.
Length, there are different lengths. You just check what you need to have.
IF you want an official Massey top link, you can Google or Bing "MF Top Link" and there'll be pictures of the official ones. Some of them are sorta ... not to say odd, but different. No, I'll go back; they are odd.
But anything will work.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to identify the model of this tractor and somehow I came up with B2200. You are probably correct. It probably is a 2200 as you mentioned.

I have a MF2200 which I have seen referred to as a B2200 in other locations.. I have the operators manual as well as the parts book. It looks like the part numbers for the arms are different on the gas vs the diesel. Email me and I can try to measure mine if that helps
