Well have this Kubota B2200 here to work on and one tire is full of fluid and the other is not so will be filling the empty one. Tire is a 12.4X16 so I am guessing it should hold around 10gal of wiper fluid. So is that close??
Thanks
Only tire in my chart that comes close is a 6.00X16 and it holds 6gal so figure 10-12 would be in the ball park

Of course, wiper fluid is not as heavy as Calcium, but I wouldn't use calcium either. Some time ago I mentioned to a friend that I was considering using anti freeze in the tires. He said, Well if you're going to put antifreeze in it, use the type for RVs and water lines, because it is non-toxic and if it should leak out there will not be any critters harmed. Made sense to me.

also heard of folks dissolving a couple bags of sugar in the windshield washer for garden tractors.

I am retired farmer here in Az. and my neighbors and I always did all our own tire work. My John Deere's used 20.8-38 tires and we put 2 gallons of anti freeze and water in each tire. We were at 4500 Ft. elevation and the coldest temp I saw was 15 degrees below zero in 1979. 2 gallons of anti freeze kept them from freezing. We were always careful to dispose of used solution in a safe manner.
