Umm, that picture is not Lead.... The cars are traveling in the wrong directions (wrong sides of the road) and it's several years old as I've seen it before.

Here are some actual pictures taken in western SD/Black Hills area...

This one is main st. in Lemmon

This one is 600 head stuck on I-90 for 24hrs+

This one is an exit off I-90 in Rapid City

This one is by Sturgis somewhere

Looks like a national park in Hokkaido, Japan. They are famous in Japan for clearing the snow like that for the parks spring reopening.

I think that picture of yours is from Japan about 2-3 years ago if I remember right.

Somewhere I have the book written by the man that Lemmon is named for. I don't recall the title, however it was very good and funny at times. Good luck with everything out there.

I wanted to get one from the museum when I was there a couple years ago but didn"t have the cash. Maybe it wasn"t the same book but I think his daughter compiled some of the articles he wrote for the newspaper.

Reminds me of Hyw 88 in CA. Over the Sierrias great ride in the spring sometimes 15 ft of snow.
