They have tornado warnings posted for our country, just
wondering how the weather is in the western part of the state
is? Any warnings up?
 
Thats interesting, there's a prevailing steady wind from the south right now, and I see the squall line on the radar map = rotation = not good ! Hopefully it fizzles out, or does not form up, similar conditions May 31 1998 = tornado several miles north of here. Seems these weather events of late and going back to the ice storm of Dec 2008 sure makes a lot of firewood !
 
No warnings here (Monroe County/Rochester) as of 10:30 AM. But it's raining HARD and the wind's picking up.
 
It had been pouring here 35 miles SE of Rochester for the last half hour. Looks like a line of thunderstorms to the South on the map.
 
Power is off already, on solar/battery back up right now, storm has not even hit yet, sunny over here.
 
Heard on the radio at noon that there were tornado watches for some of the Southern Tier counties.

Helped Dad finish up the corn chopping yesterday. Grabbed the last 4 loads after it stopped raining. Silo unloader's back down.
 
I have not seen any warnings. But, the wind is quite strong from the southwest. Rain was steady this morning. It is just cloudy now. Location is
halway between Buffalo and Rochester.
 
Flooding rains again, just before noon. This has happened several times this year. Worst erosion I have seen since Jun. 1972. Then tornado watches this afternoon, but thankfully, nothing materialized.
