Here is some good Bluegrass from some youngsters!!

I just stumbled on to this video. Two things caught my attention: 1) The age of the singers. They are good too. 2) Look at the live background they are singing in front of, JUST beautiful!!!

The first video is in 2009 and the second is in Feb.2013. They are turning into beautiful young ladies with great voices. The young fellow is great too.

I amazed at the talent that many of today's Youth have. We do not hear much of that. The majority of the news is always negative on today's kids.

So here are four talented young people.

Well today I saw a talented "old Dude" . I went to see Barry Mitterhoff,Kenny Koseck, and Joe Selly play in a historic barn . And who do I see upon arriving, none other than Mr Tex Logan. Two fiddles playing up a storm. Man that guy can play and he is 86. He dressed alot classier than the younger guys too with cowboy boots and hat . It was free and they even gave me a donut and cider.
 
We went and saw these guys again a week ago last night. One older guy and one youngster.

They kept up that pace for an hour and forty minutes. The little guy's suit was soaked clean through by the end of the show.

Amazing guys from right here in Michigan.

Outstanding ! It looked like the same boy who was excellent on the mandolin was playing stand up bass a year later and the youngest girl previously singing, playing slide. Great stuff.
 
Ya,the M.C. said it was a good thing they didn't have to pay them by the note,they would never be able to afford them.
 
If you wanna see kids playing bluegrass get on you tube link below then in addition search for Danielle Yother or Peyton OKelly. The link below has Danielle on flat top guitar, Carley Arrowood (I believe) on fiddle and her sister on mandolin and Peyton on the other fiddle.

I'm a bluegrass picker to and I'm glad to see all these young people taking interest in this music. There are some mighty fine young pickers.
