ford 2000 numbers stamped on hood

I need to have a tractor rebuilt,it is hard to read the stamped numbers on the side of the block .i did find these inside the hood trac.# 234441 model b1012c unit 9031b engine 8m30a transmission 8l28b rear axle 8m17b hyd pump 8ms0b hyd lift 9a9b . i am not sure if a couple of the numbers are zero's or theyu are the letter O . i am getting rising oil levels in the crank case and have not added any oil at all lately . bad rings ?

Is your Hyd pump mounted to the engine block ? If so , It's the seal on the pump shaft , it's leaking hyd oil into the engine ......

Could be coming from his power steering pump too if he has PS.
Neither problem requires a rebuild on the engine.

Or if it's a diesel it could be leaking diesel from the pump seal? or even a thermo syphon starting aid?
