Beans coming out

I am in Eastern Iowa, my early beans came out at 50 bu/acre, my buddy is getting his later beans out at 17 bu/acre.

How are others coming out?

Nephew in ND has late beans; he says they look like about 20bu/acre for those. All of his grain crops were pretty good, but beans are not going to amount to much. He's waiting for a killing frost as there is still a lot of green in the field.

Finished beans Tuesday. They looked fantastic August 1st but with only 3 tenths rain in August thru harvest last week, they perished. Planted beans that were 60+ lbs for 145,000 count. Harvested the offspring that were approx half this size. Early August projected yield over 70 bu/acre. Due to having no rain the actual yield was a little over 50 bu/acre. Central Illinois

Forgot to mention moisture was very low around 10.5%. Unfortunately they ripened unevenly and when harvested there were still some scattered small areas with a few green leaves and immature beans. Initially ran around these areas but eventually decided to just run everything and take the hit.

Here in NE Iowa I have been hearing anything from 30-60 BPA and mostly in the 10-15 moisture range. All in all excellant yields for a troubling spring.

Most all beans here were planted in late June-early July so it will be the end of October before most are ripe...Yields look like 20-30 bushels per acre..
