V-belt Idler

Trying to locate an Idler pulley for a "C" class V-belt. Needs to be 1/2" shaft dia. Max OD should be less than 4" if possible. Wondering if anybody had a good source. Local machine shop doesn't carry anything and the a- __ole doesn't want to search. Tried some online search, but seem to get everything but for what I want.

JayDee enterprises has an excellent stock of pulleys(bearings and belts,too).Call them and tell them what you need.
 
I may not understand your application, but I would figure you would use the idler on the flat side of the belt, therefore, would the tensioner pulley for a flat belt work. such as used on the serpentine belts on a Ford F150 or similar engine?
 
for what it's worth. bore dia., my mower deck uses 3/8 shaft dia. however bearing bore is 5/8 and has a slip fit tubing bushing in it. you may be able to do the same with what you find to get your 1/2 dia. ie larger bore bushed to 1/2
 
This is on a combine header. Year round made the wobble box for the cutter bar and it is to get the drive belt tight enough. I have the right belt per their spec.
 

The local Tractor Supply store here has a good selection. I bought one a while back for the mower, about $20. They will order from the catalog if it is not in stock.
