I won't say this in a reply to your post about the down corn because this reply would get it poofed,but according to John Phipps on US Farm Report this past weekend,it's caused by climate change.
 
Well then the climate has changed the same since the early 70s since this is not the first time we've had this.
 
We had a lot of downed corn a couple of weeks ago due to a strong wind. Of course it was climate change just as much as a severe rain storm or a winter blizard is. I have seen strong winds cause the same damage several times. I guess its similar to hurricane season along the coast- nothing we can do about it but the gov seems to think it would be a new way to tax us assuming we would believe the fairy tale. Look at how much money Al Gore made.
