Seems a Dairy Queen worker seen a Blind customer drop a 20 dollar bill on the floor. The person waiting behind the blind person picked it up and was claiming it to be theirs. Worker refused service to the dishonest customer unless they gave the money back to blind person. He told the customer to leave and then proceeded to give the blind person 20 dollars out of his own pocket. With all the bad news in the media today, it sure is great to hear about some good people doing great deeds. Hats off to all the honest hard working people . Thank You

And according to MSN, several people in the restaurant who observed the whole thing each gave him 20 bucks to reward him for doing the right thing.

Guess if I were there I might have been tempted to call the cops on the "lady" who picked up the 20.

I was just watching some science show on television about something like that. They said that people below the median income are more likely to be honest about things like that. They put it to the test. They baited 8 people,5 of the 8 gave the money back,3 kept it. 4 of the 5 who gave it back were below, all who kept the money were above the median income. They figured that it was because money was more respected by those who don't come by it so easy.

Tom, Honesty above greed is something to hold om to. I had a good friend who passed on .told me years ago"I rather have some one steal from me rather then lie to me. When you steal from me. thats gone. but a lie lingers on forever" I've kept that as part of my life style. Regards LOU.

Lou, There's a lot of truth to that. My wife is totally blind from diabetes and you would be surprised at the amount of store clerks that go out of their way to describe what bill is what when change is handed back to her. There have been a couple times when she has been told,"No that is not a 5 but a 1". and she knows better because she folds each denomination differently. I used to work for a couple farmers when I was younger. they used to tell me that they would rather owe it to me than to beat me out of it. So I figured I always had something coming that never made it to me. Kind of comical now.

Neighbor caught a local bank VP stealing strawberrys at his roadside stand. He had the theft on video. He confronted the guy on his lunch break. Guy denied it and refused to own up. Farmer pressed charges and refused to back down even when the bank vp lawyer offered him big bucks. VP lost his job and moved out of state over $10 of strawberries. I don't know what the guy made at the bank, but I bet it was 100K+ per year...

Telling a Lie
Stealing
Cheating

Is all the same thing just in different forms. Like Cancer.

Lung Cancer
Brain Cancer
Lieukemia

all different forms of cancer but still cancer.

Incorrect terminology. Person was female. Ladies behave better. Just like there's a difference between males and men.

Heard the clerk got a call from Warren Buffet. Warren happens to own the company that owns Dairy Queen. Not sure of the whole conversation but it seems that WB was very proud of his employee.

When a lady says "No", she means "Maybe". When she says "Maybe", she means "Yes", but if she says "Yes", she's no lady.

I remember in the movie "RAY " about Ray Charles : He only wanted to be paid in one dollar bills because of dihonest clerks.
