Hay is hauled in to the yards and the wheat is in the ground. Good thing too, I'm plumb out of ambition. :>)

'Spose I'd better clean out that drill first tho....

As ya get a tad older, what you can't hardly wait to get started in the spring kinda loses it's luster in September don't it!

Here is hoping you don't get any of that Northern Colo water. No flooding down here in Salida. Haven't heard what has happened around the old farm in Big Springs Nebr. Always seem like we would have heavy rain and have to replant some.

Are your rows about 12 inches apart?? I would guess two 12 footers??
I grew up in ND where all wheat was spring planted. Can you plant spring wheat in NE??
The drills used in ND were all 6 or 7 inch row spacing.

Are you still doing music?? Just today I bought a banjolin at an auction.

Hi Pard,

Oh yeah, still trying to learn how to play the silly thing! :>)

These drills are 10" and 24'. I put on 1.2 bushels of certified seed this year. OUCH! That price will curl the corners of your checkbook......

Really wish it was a 7" 'cause I have a heck of a weed problem. Sprayer at the ready come spring. :>)
