Massey 165 PTO and Lift

I have a 1972 Massey 165 that while bushoging, the PTO and lift quit working. They still work as long as they are not under a load. Does anyone have any ideas where I need to start diagnosis?

Does it have live or ipto ?? Your pto clutch slung apart. Take the plate off the bottom of the tranny and see if you cant pull out a handful of clutch..Or the center hub rivets sheared away, either way no big deal clutch job is easy..

It has both. There is a leaver to change fron either. I have a book but it doesnt say anything about a plate?
