Went to the gas station to fill the truck. SHOCK #1 - diesel had dropped .10!

Got home and had a letter from the Dallas County Tax Assessor. Almost trashed it. Glad I didn"t. Seems I am eligible for some kind of exemption (not homestead) and may even get a refund on taxes paid in 2012. SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK!!! Will definitely fill in the form and get it in the mail TODAY!

And maybe some YEAR you'll get something out of it!
I get a healthy state income tax refund because NY state refunds the school taxes paid on the farm portion of the property.
I've always gotten it in the spring.(File income tax by Mar.1)
This year, after trying every way I know to find out what was up, it finally arrived last week, just in time to pay school taxes! Coincidence?

But Nancy, Gov. Perry came to Mo last week and tried to poach jobs saying no taxes in Texas. I think he had id backwards.

Isn't it "Texas spelled backwards is Taxes"
