Got a free can to try at the auto body supply . Works great ,smells like [not good]. I have to tell them how I liked it. I would buy it again but would never lube anything in the house with it due to the smell.

(quoted from post at 18:27:13 09/12/13) Extremely expensive. The can I used made everything rust faster.

There is absolutely no way that I can believe that.

==========================================

I use it all the time, buy it at the parts store where I buy all my parts, about 11 bucks a can taxes in, don't mind the smell at all, a little goes a long ways, a can lasts twice as long as other products I have used.

I highly recommend it.

I use it on electrical connections. It works really well. You can spray it back into the actual pin connectors on a plug. I also have found it works great on battery cable ends too.

It is a lanolin based lubricant. I have used it as a lube on some things but it does smell.

As far as buying it. I usually find it at most farm supply stores, like TSC or Farm and Fleet. It is not cheap usually $7-8 per can.

Not BS at all. I cleaned the rear rusting wheel wells on a truck, left it to dry in the sun for about 6 hours, sprayed them, and in 2 months I went from having no rust holes, to having 5 dime sized holes. Without a doubt, I know they wouldn't have rusted that fast without the spray.

AWESOME stuff just bloody expensive . We use it on the farm and I have a can in the big truck for chain binders. Only other thing I use is Break Away when I can't find Fluid Film.

it's great to keep your hitches, and balls from squeaking. I also use it on linkage parts, It makes the foot lift linkage lift the deck, on my Dixie chopper about 50 % easier to lift.

I sprayed it into box jeep frame three years ago, can't hurt. I think I paid $37/gallon back then. I think it is near $50 mow.

It is not a paint or sealer. You used the wrong product in the wrong place.

I used it on my Military M-1031 pick-up.. I'm not impressed....After spraying it , it looked good.. After running thru 1 puddle it was gone... Not even a sign of anything ever being sprayed underneath it.. I now use used atf oil and boiled linseed oil mixed.. This combo is still leaching out of the cracks from last year.. I use a battery terminal spray on brake lines in addition to the concoction above..

If you buy a case of 12 cans its 7.83 per can, shipping included.I had a hard time finding it.Cost about 15 bucks with sales tax.A NAPA store I usually avoid because of high prices.The smell comes from lanolin.Anyone who shears sheep knows the smell.It makes sense to buy a quart can and use a syphon sprayer if you use a lot.

Those holes were well on the way before you used the fluid film.The wheel wells on my Ford looked good but were ready to break thru.Fluid film cant replace rusted metal.
