Can I pull sleeves out and bore the block to 4,25,and fill block with dev ,anybody have any ideas ? I only farm pull with tractor

Machine a ring to fill the void, DevCon is plastic, not metal (common misconception though).

You're talking 5/8" over the original block cylinder size. I wouldn't count on there being and bore material left in the block once you go that far.

You take that much our of the block you should be able to stick your hand in #1 and go to #6 with out touching anything . Going that big just ain't ah going to happen . Using a 301 block you still can get that big .

Here I expected to read something about Ford car engines. It would be nice if people put the brand name in their first post, or ideally in the subject line. Still do not know what brand this string is about!!!

Ive built 4.125 sleeved 221s before. its a wet sleeve block now. works! shocked it doesnt leak.
