This picture should make at least two people happy,the Howells,because its a JD,and SweetFeet because its rusty,saw it going to a job yesterday,and had to take a quick picture of it,
I dont know what model it is I was pretty far away from it,

That's a hill starter, My Grandfather had a Massey Harris that he roll down the hill and started just before running into the gate for the cows lane near the milk house. Never did see it start any other way. Tractor did stall on my Grandmother one time going up hill with baler and me loading the wagon, Had wild run back down the hill that day. Guy next door drove his tractor over to pull start it back up for her. Farm story from the pass.
 
Carlyle, I was going to guess JD 60. After seeing your JD 50 call I looked again and will agree with you. Small muffler and narrow rear tires a couple clues.
