Accidently got deleted.

- spent 15 years building it - used it for farm orchard and fun.

Daughter got full scholarship to George Washington U at 68k per year. Told her she could have anything she wanted and, you guessed it, she asked for the truck for the summer so I painted bumpers and got it street legal and she was popular all summer! Here are some photos of the restoration. Of course, this took time away from all the work the tractors needed...

Maybe the original post got deleted for wrong thread heading as it's really not a TRUCK but a BLAZER. I'm glad fargo is furnishing the gasoline for the Blazer for daughter to be popular and not me. Man it's hard too comprehend that a University costs $68K per year.

Nice Truck!
I wouldn't sell it either.
I image your daughter was popular--Hot girl with a Hot truck Oh Yeah.

Nice Truck and CONGRATS and Best Wishes to your Daughter!

Tell her an olde man said to take it easy - -take the basics, look over all the curriculums, DON"T declare a final major for 2 years (there are plenty of BASICS to take anyway), allow herself to grow / mature out of the High School mentality (which some, even on this site, have never done).
Then, execute the final plan smartly!!

Last, very seriously seek every extracurricular career related activity and Job Internship she can get - -in the end, grades get you the Job Interviews, but experiences get the job offer.

Best Regards!
John

Them aren't your everyday chevy tr doors, these doors have no top door frame, their like rag top doors. Like to see someone buy them that could use them.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. $68,000 a year for a state school, and for a resident? Holy cow. And by the way, we got us a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that we call the barn Jeep because although is in real good shape, we use it mostly for fetching little stuff around the place or needs down to the store, and its registered in Indiana with truck plates on it. If Indiana call call a Jeep Cherokee a truck, well... Grin.

And I aint trying to offend no one, but if I was a youngster not in my fifties and I saw a hot chick in a blazer like that, I'd be hitch hiking too. Just being honest is all.

Not a denial, but an opinion based on 40 years in teaching (university for 37) one year of generals is OK. two will force the student to take too many major courses in the same semester, and in many cases those will have prerequisites that are sequential not parallel to each other. Many students need one or more additional semesters or summers to get their degree. the worst is having all general studies curriculum completed then choosing a major.
Courses that are a best guess within a selected major are best to take as a freshmen/sophmore. These give a real feel for the major, and if not used, count toward the electives.
Any difficult lab based major from nursing, engineering, computer science, or meteorology. will be a 4 year sequence, with no wiggle room. I advise 70 students. Jim

(quoted from post at 16:16:29 09/09/13) So your ad that says "1975 blazer for sale" doesn't really mean 1975 blazer for sale?

Just looked at it, it doesn't say it's for sale.

That's because he changed it on his linkin his message
yesterday after I posted that because his posts kept getting
deleated for selling stuff on here. So you are correct, it now
doesn't say for sale.
