Canning again Apples

Well a friend picked up a bushel of apples yesterday. So she brings them to me for canning. Just pulled 5 qt of apple sauce out of the water bath unspiced and now have 45 pints in the bath spiced apple sauce. The gals went to town to pick up some clear-jel and apple juice so I can do pie filling next
 
Wow, 45 pints... must have several pots boiling or be using a washtub to fit that many.

I'm sure it will be good this winter, I like it on fresh corn bread.
 
How big is your water bath to do 45 pints at once? I've done 14 qts of apple sauce this afternoon. Need another stove so I can do them faster. And more large stock pots.

Should have read 4-5 pints not 45. Some times I hit a key butthe key does not do as it should so I get an oh no. Like the space bar where I said but and the
 
Ya the - key did not do as it should and it should have read 4-5 not 45. Key boards some times do not do as you know your hands have done. LOL
 
I've started doing mine in the crockpot. Works slick. Let it cook overnight, mash up in the morning, and can it. I also do pear butter the same way.

The apple tree is loaded. It won't be long and I will be scrambling again. I've been eating them off the tree every couple of days. Good crop this year.
