Boy it's been pretty dry here. Then this AM it started raining. Of course I have hay on the ground but no big deal as we really needed the rain. As I post this we've had almost 5" this morning.

30% chance for some here (Kearney MO) for morning/early afternoon. Looks like it may pass us by. We need it bad too. 5" would sure help heal the cracks in the ground.

glad your getting some rain Rick, been so long since we've had that much rain in a day that I don't even remember. 102 today, beans are burning up fast, could sure use some rain and cooler temps

We had about 1.7" over the 30 days prior to today. Beans and corn look pretty bad. 2nd cutting of hay wasn't very good.

Rick

Pretty dry down here too. Crops are looking stressed and lawns are getting brown and crispy.

I spent the day yesterday mowing hay down. That should have made it rain. The beans need some rain or those pods are going to have vacancy signs on them. Yard burned up and now it is 101 outside.

I'd be willing to do some dancing in my skivvies if I thought it would help. No worries that the neighbors would stare - you can't see anything through the dust from the road.

Rick, Been dry her too. Been watering Potatoes and carrots. Was 90 yesterday, today some rain and 50. Go Figure.
Regards LOU
