Thanks for the pics. That gray two door Plymouth looks like it's in the late forties, early fifties range. My parents had a 49 Plymouth two door when I was born in 51 and it was the family car till 1962. I haven't seen another 49 Plymouth two door since. I can't tell if the one in the pic is a 49 but it's close. Ours was powder blue. Grandpa had a 52 Plymouth four door the same gray color as the one in the pic. Jim

Jim - I think it's a '48, but it's hard to tell. From the rear, the '48 had a big brake light in the center of the trunk lid. I may be wrong, but always thought the '49 did not have the brake light in the center. No rear shots of this one. Nice car - our family had a '48 Special Deluxe when I was a kid. By the way - I think the Chevy in the first pic is a '57.

Don't see many '57 Chevrolets like the one in the first photo! I believe that is the one-fifty series which was the entry level or base model. they offered the one-fifty, the two-ten and the one everyone wants, the Bel Air.
The little Plymouth is a 1946, 47, or 48 coupe. One of my uncles had a 1948 coupe. I put quirt a few miles on it myself. Had no idea he was going to sell it or I would have bought it. Thanks for the memories, kruser.

your'e right it is 57, but i hit the button before I realized I had hit 55 instead 57 - either I'll take it and the 62 next to it.
