1949 Farmall

I have become the owner of a tractor which is described to me a 1949 Farmall model A. The former owner was an elderly man who kept it in a shed and used it to mow a piece of land that I bought from him. I got the tractor when I bought the land. Here are my questions.

How do I learn more about this tractor?

How do I value it so I can sell it?

Where would I find a buyer.

Thanks,

Brad

You can learn a lot about here, but you really need a manual. As how to place a value on it depends on lots of things. How beat up is it, is it rusty or has good paint, how does it run, what condition are the tires. For finding a buyer, advertise it, on here, or craigslist, or local for sale paper.

those are still sought after tractors either to show, as their light in weight and can trailer behind nearly anything, and for working at they make great mowing tractors ect what condition is it in and where are you? ive used a cub for mowing but its sat most of the summer with minor problems i cant fix it because i cant get good new parts, but ive now got a nice collection of brand new bad parts stepping up to a good A would be great
