MF202 Grinding gears

Hello,
Just got a MF202 a few months back.
Gears grind even when I am at full stop. Mostly the forward/reverse shifter.
Not sure if it's the clutch adjustment or forks??
Any advice is appreciated.

Adjusting your clutch free-play may help and usually does. If it doesn't the clutch dischub may be too rusty on the shaft to slide far away from the flywheel to stop it from spinning.

It doesn't take much friction between the clutch disc and flywheel to turn the transmission input shaft when the tranny is in neutral.

My IH 574 has the clutch disc hub sticking to the transmission input shaft. It's hard to get out of gear with the tractor running at times.

my 135 does that, suspect a bad pilot bearing in center of flywheel

idle engine way down, depress clutch and wait a bit

or split the unit and renovate innards
