Case VAC engine refreshen

I"m thinking of doing a "light" refresh on my "50 VAC, rings and valves only. Tools for the job are no issue, have rebuilt auto engines in the past. Any help/tips on locating gaskets, ring set from one source is greatly appreciated.

Amazing what they can still get! My first 'amazement' was back about 1970 I needed an exhaust valve for a '49 Diamond-T with a Hercules flathead 6 - NAPA (in C.Spgs, Colo.) had one in stock! :shock:

Thanks, NAPA was in the back of my mind. When I did a tune up a couple of years ago, they even had a carb kit.

You will need to have the rods out anyway, It appears to me that rods wear way faster than mains, so why not do them at the same time?
