John Deere Hygard hydraulic

Got a guy out our way selling new un opened 5 gal pails of John Deere Hygard for $2.50 a gallon. I grabbed 30 gallons. Now I see him selling it again. He told me what I got was it.
Anyone hear of a truckload getting way laid anywhere in the USA?

We had a guy like that selling diesel for $1.50 gallon no questions asked. He said he got it pumping out obsolete fuel tanks in homes that switched to gas or propane. Last I heard he was serving 6 or 12 months in the local jail. By the way, his deal was cash only.

Easy enough to print Hy-Gard on a pail and fill it with ordinary 32 hydraulic oil.

If the bucket is original take one to your local JD dealer and see if the "bar code" shows up stolen. $2.50 per gallon is a cheap price for re-run oil.
