It was nice of him to haul that out to the field so the Oliver 88 could hook on to it and use it.
 
That is some plowing outfit. I covered my ears with my hands as that tractor is so loud it wakes the dead. That was some of the toughest soil to plow that I have ever seen, looked like big lumps of coal after it was plowed. Saw a JD 60 totaly stopped and spinning out with a 2 bottom plow. Thats tough soil. Other makes were in the same situation.

Earthquake and the 110 Case steam engine with a 10 bottom plow both did a good job though but knew the plow was doing its job. The best show I have ever seen.

The thing that renewed my faith in America was with such a huge crowd, I never saw or heard anyone misbehaving or causing a disturbance of any kind.

Yes it a neat tractor, but it did not do very well at the tractor pull last nite.The sled was completly forward and it was still pulling great when it started slowing down.Something in the trans. was slipping.It was still impressive as was the entire show and tractor pull.I wish we could have stayed for another day.
 
I am sure your 88 could pull it all day just be careful not to let it down.LOL It sure was something to see but when you think about it the steam engine was even more of something to see.
