traction control lever

My d14 did not have a traction control lever when i got it , got two one from sterner one from a salvage yard both have the hook up hole at the bottom of thee lever , rod has hole at the top witch are about three forth inch higher is there a way to adjust the rod so the hole match up, one i have seen pictures of lever fits flush on the plate with the teeth
 
Can you post a pic of what you have? Traction Booster lever on the D series is the upper lever on the left hand quadrant.....lower lever is the Lift/Lower lever. Do you have the Operator Manual for the D14?
 
No I do not have a manual for my d14 . My lever is in the upper left hand side above the lift on the same plate. I will try to get a picture and post it.Holes in the lever and the rod that attached to the lift down at the side frame will not line up hole in round pinky size rod do not line up . rod holes are 3/4 higher
