I'm not tring to be the devil's advocate, but I sincerely hope you stripped the sod out of the building before pouring concrete.

Loren, I left the sod---but, it is buried under two truck loads of busted up sidewalk, and then 10 tons of lime dust over the fill. It got rained on for about two months and packed really well before I got to the crete. You are correct however. Ellis

Organic matter just never quits breaking down, it will settle some day, no matter what you put on it.

But I understand. Just, for others looking to do a project, really need to dig the organic matter away, fill with clay and pack well.

Paul, He did the job right.. His is a pole building with a reinforced concrete, floating floor. If it ever does settle it will be as one unit and most likely will never move.
