Spreading manure on sprayed wheat stubble

I had a field of wheat that the weeds came on pretty bad near the end of growing season, I had it sprayed off on Friday. I want to get spreading some manure on it but just wondering if its ok to start now?

Sure. Just don't complain to your spray guy agout not killing the weeds.
That manure you are about to spread has a lot of weed seeds that make it out to the field you know.

that's kind of why I want to get it spread now, the plan is to spray it again before plowing this fall. So if I spread now, let those seeds start to grow, then kill them off again

I wouldn't bother with another round of spray later. just plow it under and worry about spraying next years crop when the time comes.

If you spread weed seed, they will be coming up for years - just part of nature.

Now if you compost that manure in a really "hot" pile, much lower chance that the weed seeds are going to survive to germinate.

Because the heat produced in the decomposition process essentially kills the germination of the weed seeds. Proper composting techniques are required however. This mainly consists of incorporation of air (oxygen) into the pile while it ferments. You have to feed the aerobic bacteria that break down the manure.

Weed seeds are always there.
