All in one tune-up kit on Ebay?

Poking around on Ebay and found these all in one tune-up kits[plugs,wires,cap,rotor,points] for about $40 to $50 depending on who you buy from and shipping rates.This is for a four cylinder engine, a 1010 Deere.The local TSC always seems to be out of any of the parts.Suppose I could have them order it in. Seems I have read on this forum about poor quality of thier tune-up parts.Any input from those who know? I am not afraid to spend a few bucks more and have something that runs well for a while. I haven't priced any of it at NAPA yet.
 
Our local dealer went out of business.Pretty long haul to go to a Deere dealer now.This happened just after I bought the tractor.Figures!
 
I stay away from TSC, Tisco and any other points with a plastic
rubbing block. They just melt away and need to be replaced soon.
Even when greased properly.
I buy Standard Ignition brand premium(Blue Streak) points from my
local auto store. They are cheaper there than online.
Echlin premium from NAPA would be a good choice also.
There are other good brands as well. Borg-Warner maybe?
Depends on what stores you have locally.
 
NAPA stuff is pretty good. Parts on Ebay will probably be inferior. Stick with your better auto parts stores.
 
most all tune up stuff for any common old tractor is available at your local napa or carquest, bring your old stuff in with you it can be looked up, but having the old stuff there with you just makes it easier .i would not buy this stuff off ebay it will 90% of the time be cheap chinese junk, it wont fit and if it runs at all, you might get a month of run time out of it, pay for the quality parts its well worth the few bucks more it costs
 
Took everyone's advice and went to NAPA.They had parts in stock.Now for the plugs,forgot to ask when I was there.Any recommendations as to what brand? Has Champion H-14Y that look to be many years old!
 
A discussion about ignition parts, and spark
plugs can get as wild as one about John Deere"s
and Farmalls. Everyone"s got their own opinion !
